in soviet russia, red ballon buys you!

i've been going over my Complete Cartoons of the New Yorker recently and rediscovered my love for single panel humor. and i figure i need some practice (see deviation) anyways, it kinda incorporates stuff from two of my favorite New Yorker cartoonists Charles Addams (the semi-morbid surrealist concept of the piece) and to a lesser extent (cause i can't EVER mimic this guy in the least) Saul Steinberg (the balloon man)

also, i reeeeeeeally need to do more perspective stuff...

I'm obsessed by the Complete Cartoons of the New Yorker, its amazing, I love Roz Chast's work (dont know how to spell her name) and yeah, Addams, I remember he did some good Addams family stuff, and of course Steinberg, so simple but brilliant! You have some really great work, and it's nice to see someone who likes the cartoons on dA!
